Sasha Chirova is a curious designer, always searching for new ideas to incorporate in her work. She seeks to inspire those around her to look at the world the way she does, especially in the realm of weird, unsettling creatures of nature. She is a dependable, dramatic creator that will make the world of designing a fun and exciting environment. She can be incredibly ambitious, in which she adapts to different ideas, enthusiastically embracing the design process.
Sasha has a degree in Art & Design, concentrating in Animation and Interactive Media, from North Carolina State University. She previously majored in Biochemistry before her switch, taking a strong scientific background with her. She is currently working as a designer for educational video games at Laber Labs on Duke University’s, previously interning as a 3D generalist at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, and held 2 positions at Hunt Library on campus, one of which was a lead position.
In her free time, Sasha takes care of her 4 tarantulas, jumping spider, and her snake. She birdwatches, crochets amigurumi, practices violin, and enjoys playing all sorts of video games.
