Mythaura RPG - Concepts And Asset Creation

I am an artist for Mythaura, a website RPG currently in development and set to launch a closed beta in Q3 of 2026. I have been designing multiple assets including but not limited to: items, wearables, social media images, creatures, and UI elements. Item creation process

One of my main tasks is ideating and concepting, then rendering and optimizing item assets for players to use or collect in-game. Some items can be challenging to make as they need to take an abstract concept (attract a wild encounter) and create a concrete visual representative of the action players can take without confusion or second guessing what said item does. Other items act as a decorative function to complete another secondary action. Those are designed with the lore and worldbuilding in mind to weave together an immersive experience for the player.


Gear and apparel design

I am also on the design team for concepting and render gear and apparel for our playable creatures. We have a wide variety of creature types and body shapes that I adapt all wearables to fit. Because the beasts differ so widely in their bodies (some have wings, some have hooves, some are floating), I will run the concept process over every playable creature that I design wearables for to catch any bottlenecks or problem areas before I commit to the rendering process.

Every step is nondesctructively saved to make any future edits a smooth process. When future playable creatures are introduced in the game, coming back to previous wearables for fitting will be simple. I take numerous approaches to streamline the process and ensure any new artists or new work can be done easily.
